For this project, I independently created the complete music and sound design for the Marathon Official Announcement Trailer, blending synthesizer timbres with real acoustic instrument sound sources to build a cohesive sonic world. The work demonstrates my strength in sound design and precise timing for audiovisual synchronization.

I turned everyday textures into narrative sound elements. For example, I recorded sounds from surfaces that resemble flesh and processed them to imitate the sound of flowing blue liquid. I used the sound of crumpled plastic to imitate the movement of a caterpillar. I also captured wind by swinging a microphone, and this was used to imitate the sound of swirling smoke. The rhythmic variations in the trailer’s ending were shaped through layered textures and dynamic processing to reinforce visual impact and emotional tension.

I also specialize in sculpting timbre using audio plugins. For example, in the strings part, I used tools such as tremolo, filters, and automation to shape and enrich each restated melody.

Overall, this project reflects my ability to merge technical precision with creative interpretation, as well as my potential for sonic experimentation, perceptual exploration, and rhythmic innovation in commercial media.
